Why we started Xabira
In Kampala, thousands of landlords manage their portfolios using WhatsApp messages, handwritten ledgers, and monthly visits to collect cash. When rent goes unpaid, there is no trail. When a tenant disputes a payment, there is no record.
We started Xabira to build the infrastructure layer that Africa's rental market has been missing. It speaks the language of Mobile Money, integrates with national identity systems, and works on the devices people already own.
Our goal is not just to digitise existing workflows. We want to fundamentally raise the standard of property management across Africa.
