Tenants pay via bank transfer, cards, MTN, or Airtel Money directly from their phone. Payments hit your registered bank or mobile money account immediately. Xabira records the transaction and sends digital receipts to both parties.
NIN (National Identification Number) verification checks a tenant's identity against Uganda's NIRA database. It is not legally mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. It takes under 60 seconds and significantly reduces fraud and tenancy disputes.
Yes. Xabira's lease templates are drafted to comply with Uganda's Landlord and Tenant Act 2022. Digital signatures are legally recognised under the Electronic Transactions Act 2011.
Absolutely. You can add unlimited properties, units, and property managers under one account. Property managers see only the portfolios you assign to them, with full activity logs.
Property managers create a company profile on Xabira, including their business name and licence details. Landlords then send you an invitation to manage their portfolio. Once connected, you get a unified dashboard showing all your clients' properties, units, occupancy rates, and rent collection status — without needing separate logins for each account. You can track performance across all portfolios from one place and share reports with your clients directly.
Xabira is free during the beta period for approved landlords. Pricing will be announced before general launch. Early access users will receive preferential rates.
Yes. All KYC documents are stored in private, encrypted cloud storage and never served publicly. Payment data is verified with HMAC-SHA256. We comply with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019.
